Question

A student measures the velocity of an object moving along a track. At time0 s, the object is moving at a constant 4.0 m/s in the positive x-direction. At time -3.0 s, the object begins to slow, stops at t = 5.0 s, and then moves in the opposite direction. At 6.0 s, the object as reached a speed of -2.0 m/s. It moves at this speed until the student quits taking data at t- 10.0 s. Assume the object is atx-0 when the student begins taking data and that all accelerations are uniform On a separate sheet of graph paper, graph the position, velocity, and acceleration of the object. Use a scale of1 cm-0.5 s for the time axis and a scale of1 cm-0.5 m, m/s, or m/s for the position, velocity, and acceleration axes. (Each graph is 10 pts each.) In the space below, describe why you drew the graphs the way you did. There are three graphs, so you need three explanations, one for each graph. (5 pts each)
