given 3n+3 is odd so 3(n+1) is odd
we know product of
even , even = even
odd, odd = odd
odd, even = even
even, odd = even
so for 3(n+1) to be odd n+1 should be odd then only 3*(n+1) will be odd
if n+1 is odd then n is even
