The EteX Company, which specializes in e-textbooks, is looking to provide Internetworking capabilities from its home location in Boston, MA to three new satellite offices. The locations of these offices are San Antonio, TX; Miami, FL; and Seattle, WA. Since all textbooks are sold and accessed through the Internet, any disruption of computing services lasting longer than 48 hours would have a significant impact on the company’s revenue and reputation. Therefore, the company wishes to have the capabilities of shared network resources between offices. Each office has 100 nodes, 10 servers on three LANs, and one storage area network.

Design a network solution that will provide the necessary communication between the offices. This should include, but not be limited to: the type of network media or services used; required networking equipment; address scheme; protocols and connection types used; and how it will be managed by a single network administrator.

SOLUTION:- EteX having a WAN which grips all EteX locations with resolution of its utilization for passing the LAN in every possible nework. In all 3 locations users can transmit the information to one another through WAN since one by one left and right. The construction of WAN will be done by Internet Service Providers (ISP) while Organization's LANs are proportional to network. In place of this, If we suppose to use lease line then it will depend on packet switching. Packet switching is more suitable for company as it is accessible in the case of bandwidth sharing among users and also spirited as rooted on dedicated traffic rate. It is coherent for transmission of burst data however needed exclusive arrangements. Internet Protocols links various protocols inclusive of IP,TCP,HTTP,UDP & FTP in order to give extra strength. Website protocols includes LTE, Wi-fi, blutooth for deliberately employed on wireless network in order to handling the security contention along with data-type variable. Network routers implements network routing protocols. These protocols recognises distinct routers and handles the routes between source & destination of transmission network. A collection of network lever is needed for establishing a link for organization's 3 places. Switches will be used to connect several devices to system in the organization. Computer can be connected by switch and switch entitles the permission of entry to public router by storage space area which is further connected to the Local Area Network. Besides,Internet will be connected through Local Area Networks by router and finally the WAN. The hosts will be connected namely printers, servers, and computers via Ethernet cable and coaxial cable. Wi-Fi supported devices will be connected by wireless-access point in order to make a connection with wireless network. For security poinit of view, A network firewall is essential. The LAN connected host systems holds their IP address of LAN. LAN IP address will be holded by router modem for linked hosts and WAN IP address to ISP.

One Administrator will operate the WAN, having the capability of reaching to computers & distinct network devices.
