Answer #1

In US recreational activities business has gained good position in the last two decade. Especially outdoor recreational activities like Biking, Sailing and Motor Boating is very much liked by youngsters. Starting a Recreational activities business in US is a good idea but it needs planning on what recreational activities particularly Safe Heaven will provide. Like there are many recreational activities like Hiking and Campaigning, Hunting and Fishing, Rafting, Sailing, Biking, Rock Climbing, Horseback riding, Skiing, etc. some are indoor while some are performed outdoor. Therefore before setting the business, full planning to be done on what service to be provided, area selection, approval from government on life risking sports, good quality products, etc. One major important thing is the competitor’s analysis because in this business you cannot ignore the competitor’s. People are attached to such service providers and therefore whole information is required on who all are providing the same service which you are going to provide, their past experience on Sales, etc. There may be many competitor’s- big and small both. Say example- Nike has already covered sports recreation in US, but it has focused only on sports recreational activities. Likewise, many organizations are involved in Fitness related recreational activities like fitness, gym, Marathon, etc. If you are looking to start some related business you should be aware of their services and policies. Lastly, in this business competitors may be many but the most important thing through which you can succeed is educating the customer about the activity. Without knowing everything about the game or activity you are dealing with you cannot expect that customers will come to you. Therefore, good knowledge will reduce competition for you in the market.
