Answer #1

What is the total sample size (in grams) for a sample of aluminum acetate which contains 2.71 g of oxygen?

Answer :-
Molar mass Al(CH3COO)3 = 204.1 g/mol
moles O = 2.71 g/ 16 g/mol=0.169375
one mole of aluminium acetate contains 6 moles of O
0.169375 / 6 = 0.0282291667
mass = 0.0282291667x 204.1 = 5.7615729235 g
