Even though the hospitals normally file all the claims incurred at the hospital to insurance companies for reimbursement, the ultimate responsibility for the bill's payment lies with the patient. So the information sought by Hospital authorities must be given promptly so that the hospitals can verify and determine the nature of coverage.

In the case of insurance coverage is not sufficient, the due payment is made in the following means:

  • Deposits are given at the time of admission.

  • Payment made during the hospital stay.

  • Cash payment or card payment made during the discharge from the hospital
