Answer #1

1.     Is it better to invest in mutual funds rather than buying stocks?  Explain using the concept of RISK APPETITE.

Mutual Funds are managed by professional managers who are experts in Investing. However, they charge some fees to manage individual money. Buying stock involves searching and spending time in selecting stocks as well as monitoring the companies.

A person can select Mutual Funds if they have a low-risk appetite, i.e., they cannot take high risks; the Mutual funds are generally diversified in nature and less risky.

However, a person with a high-risk appetite can go for buying stocks as this offer potentially higher returns (without fees of Mutual Funds)
