The performance curve here, for an Air Operated Double Diaphragm Pumps (AODDP) indicates the correct amount of air pressure (PSIG, pounds per square inch gauge) and air consumed (SCFM, standard cubic feet per minute) to deliver a required flow rate against a discharge head.

The air consumption is indicated by the darker lines on the chart while the lighter ones show the required air pressure.
