given values 9.8,10.2,10.4,9.8,10.0,10.2,9.6

mean = 10

standard deviation = 0.2828

total n = 7

degrees of freedom = n - 1 = 7 - 1 = 6

the value of 95% confidence with degrees of freedom from t table is 2.447

confidence interval formula

=> mean +/- t * standard deviation/sqrt(n)

=> 10 +/- 2.447 * 0.2828/sqrt(7)

=> (9.7384 , 10.2616)
