Question

3 k/ft 40 k 1S lit 30 ft EI-constant G. P13.22

Provide:

a) moment diagram for the primary structure for the applied loads

b) moment diagrams for the primary structure for each virtual load used to find flexibility coefficients

c) a table indicating the segments you would use and the limits of each (you do not need to write M and m equations)

d) setup equations to solve for displacements and flexibility coefficients (you do not need to find them though)

e) compatibility equations used to solve for the reactions. In other words, setup the problem, but you don’t need to go through the work of evaluating integrals or solving systems of equations
