Problem # 8 ) Design, neatly draw, and completely label (in the space provided at the bottom of this page) a motor control system that has the following characteristics: The system contain two 3d 208V Induction Motors (Motor#1 & Motor#2), both of which are provided overload protection. Each motor will be (de)energized by means of a 30 Contactor that contains 3 (NO) Main Contacts and as many Auxiliary Contacts (NO and/or NC) as needed The control circuit utilizes one Stop button that will simultaneously stop both motors The control circuit utilizes two separate Start buttons (Start-1 & Start-2), one to start each motor. Both motors cannot be started simultaneously, If both Start buttons are pressed at the same time, neither motor should start Even if Motor#] has already been energized, Motor#2 cannot be started if Start-1 is still being pressed. Even if Motor#2 has already been energized, Motor# cannot be started if Start-2 is still being pressed In order for both motors to be energized, Motor#1 must be started first. If Motor#1 has already been energized and Start-1 has been released, Motor2 can then be started. If Motor#2 is energized first, Motor#1 cannot be started (unless Motor2 is stopped).
