The partition coefficient is the ratio of the concentration of the component in stationary and in the mobile phase. Also, partition coefficient is directly proportional to time. Therefore, highest partition coefficient is shown by species taking more time for eluting and vice-versa

1) At 8th min, species 1 already eluted, so the concentration of species 1 will be less than species 4. The first statement is wrong

2) Here, Species 4 has highest partition coefficient, as it is taking more time to elute. The second statement is correct

3) At 8th min, species 2 already eluted, so the concentration of species 2 will be less than species 4. The third statement is correct
