1a. Given x[n], sketch the magnitude of x[n]; |x[n]|

on the sketch include the magnitude values for at least 5 non-zero values of x[n]

1b. Could the fourier transform of ]x[n]| (magnitude of x[n]) exist?

Answer yes or no and explain why.

(Please clearly and neatly explain each step for my understanding. Thanks.)

Answer #1

- uin-] ,234 г 4fourier transform is applicable for only convergent signals and is not applicable for divergent signals

As the given sequence is diverging towards zero when n tends towards +/-infinty so the given sequence is divergent

As the given sequence is divergent fourier transform of x(n) exists and magnitude can also be plotted
