Answer #1

Answer:

B) Lasix ( furosemide)

Explanation: Loop diuretics act on the Na+-K+-2Clsymporter (NKCC2) present in the thick ascending limb of the loop of Henle to inhibit sodium, chloride and potassium reabsorption. This is achieved by competing for the Clbinding site. This led to the loss of sodium, chloride and potassium in the urine followed by the loss of water in the urine. This leads to relieve in edema. It is the most potent diuretics.
