Distance, D = vt

D1 = 50 x (10/60) = 8.33 km

D2 = 80 x 17/60 = 22.67 km

D3 = 30 x (35/60) = 17.5 km

V = (8.33 + 22.67 + 17.5)/((10/60) + (17/60) + (35/60) + (40/60)) = 28.53 km/h

B)

D = D1 + D2 + D3 = 48.5 km
