The salts which have basic anions will be more soluble in acidic solutions than in pure water. So Cd(OH)2, PbS, H2CO3 are more soluble in acidic solutions than in pure water because they have OH-, S2- and carbonate anions repectively which are strong base of weak acid H2O, H2S and H2CO3.
