Question

Part iii) , show full working out pleaseRi= 20 Ω V-20200 j30 Ω j40 Ω gureb) Two electrical circuits are magnetically coupled as shown in Figure Q2b. The right-hand circuit (secondary) can either be an open circuit, a short circuit or connected to a voltage source at its terminals a and b. The current in the primary circuit is assumed to be in the direction shown and that in the secondary circuit when the voltage source is connected is also shown. i) Calculate the voltage between terminals a and b when the secondary circuit 4 is left open. ii) Calculate the currents and h when a short circuit is placed across 6 terminals a and b. What is the direction of this current flow? i) Calculate the currents and / when a voltage source 2-30290 V is 6 connected across terminals a and b as indicated in Figure Q2b.
