How can a engineering designer enhance the layout of this illuminator ie. ergonomics, aesthetics, structural.

Followings are some important points to be considered for enhance design -

1. designing of lap head for easy removal of bulb in case of replacement.
2. Adjustment of height of the lamp, which would be most suitable .Not too high.. Not too short.
3. Lamp head cone area, its angle for better loght coverage
4. Designing of base and coloumn for better stability.

5. Proper L/D ratio of column.
