Molar mass of NaOH is 40 g/mol

number of moles of NaOH in 200 g = mass/molar mass = 200/40 = 5

As per the balanced chemical reaction, one mole NaOH produces 0.5 molar sodium sulfate.

Thus 5 moles NaOH produce 2.5 mole Na2SO4 (given that H2SO4 is in excess)

Molar mass of Na2SO4 = 142 g/mol

mass of Na2SO4 produced = molar mass x number of moles = 142 x 2.5 = 355 g
