Prompt the user to enter 5 grades (prompt 5 times for grade 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5)
Calculate the average of the 5 grades and display to the user if it is a passing or failing grade.
Remember to use float values as your variable data type and average.
You will use 5 sets of cout to prompt and cin to get the grades from user
After you capture the grades then calculate the average and display the result to the user
Use an if-else statement to determine if the average is a passing or failing grade
You can/should use a maximum of 6 variables (one for each grade and a total average)
We need at least 10 more requests to produce the answer.

The more requests, the faster the answer.
#include<iostream> using namespace std; int main() { float num,avg,sum=0.0; int count=0; bool moreNumbers=true; cout<<"Enter grades:"<<endl; while(moreNumbers) { cin>>num; if(num < 0) { moreNumbers=false; } else { count = count+1; sum=sum+num; } } avg=sum/count; cout<<"Average grade:"<<avg<<endl; cout<<"How many grades were entered:"<<count<<endl; return 0; } Question: We need to add another loop to check input. Just like the input loop we already have, this one should use a boolean variable as a control. So, the logic could be something like this: Loop...
Modify Assignment #18 so it drops each student’s lowest score when determining the students’ test score average and Letter grade. No scores less than 0 or greater than 100 should be accepted #include<iostream> #include<string> using namespace std; int main() { double average[5]; string name[5]; char grade[5]; for(int i=0; i<=5; i++) { cout<<"Enter student name: "; cin.ignore(); getline(cin,name[i]); int sum=0; for(int j=0; j<5; j++) { int grades; cout<<"Enter Grades:"<<j+1<<" : "; cin>>grades; sum+=grades; } average[i]=(float)sum/5; if(average[i]>=90 && average[i]<=100) grade[i]='A'; else if(average[i]>=80...
Fix the following program (C++). #include <iostream> #include <cmath> #include <vector> #include <limits> using namespace std; /* * Calculate the square of a number */ float square (float x) { return x*x; } /* * Calculate the average from a list of floating point numbers */ float average(vector<float>& values) { float sum = 0.0f; float average; for (float x : values) sum += x; average = sum / values.size(); return average; } /** Calculate the standard deviation from a vector...
DO NOT USE ARRAYS IF YOU KNOW ABOUT ARRAYS, I WANT YOU TO USE 3 VARIABLES, IT WILL FORCE YOU TO USE COMPOUND LOGICAL STATEMENTS FOR THE IF STATEMENTS. Create a program that will display a menu to the user. The choices should be as follows: Enter 3 grades Show average (with the 3 grades) and letter grade Show highest grade Show lowest grade Exit If you want to put the menu into a function you may. The program should...
// PLACE YOUR NAME HERE #include <iostream> using namespace std; float findAverage (int [], int); // finds average of all //grades int findHighest (int [], int); // finds highest of all //grades int findFirstFail( int[]); int main() { int grades[100]; // the array holding 100 grades. int numberOfGrades; // the number of grades read. int pos; // index to the array. float avgOfGrades; // contains the average of the grades. int highestGrade; // contains the highest grade. int inderOfFail; //...
Create a C++ program to calculate grades as well as descriptive statistics for a set of test scores. The test scores can be entered via a user prompt or through an external file. For each student, you need to provide a student name (string) and a test score (float). The program will do the followings: Assign a grade (A, B, C, D, or F) based on a student’s test score. Display the grade roster as shown below: Name Test Score ...
Question 2: This program continue asking for a new number until the user enters a 0 to terminate the program #include <iostream.h> using namespace std; int main(void) { int x; int count = 0; // (1) initialize a counter to 0 to count number of values int choice = 1; // This is the choice that controls the looping continuation or termination double sum = 0; // initialize the sum to 0 to make sure the...

Fix this C++ code so that the function prototypes come before main. Main needs to be declared first. Then call to the functions from inside of main. #include<cstdlib> using namespace std; //prompt user for input void getGrades(int gradeArray[],int size) { for(int i=0; i<size; i++) { cout<<"Enter the grade "<<i+1<<": "; cin>>gradeArray[i]; } } // finding average of all numbers in array float computeAverage(int numbers[],int size) { float sum=0; for(int i=0; i<size; i++) { sum = sum + numbers[i]; //compute sum...
