25.

The 3 expressions in for loop are separated by semicolon (;)

For example,

for(int i=1; i<=10; i++)

cout << i;

The loop here has three expressions -

  1. initiialisation (i=1)
  2. condition to break (i<=10)
  3. increment (i++)

All the expressions are separated by a semicolon.

Ans. semicolon (;)

26.

If condition in a while loop is never changed to false => the control never comes out of the loop

=> The loop executes forever, meaning an infinite loop

Ans. the results is an infinite loop

27.

3 basic control structures in a C++ program are -

  1. sequence - the default flow of the program where control moves to the code lines sequentially.
  2. selective - some set of code needs to be executed conditionally. (if-else, switch statements)
  3. repetitive - when a set of code lines are to be executed again and again, loops are used.

Ans. They are "sequence", selective and repetitive.

28.

The statement counter = 24, assigns 24 to the variable counter instead of checking for equality which can by done by using double equal to (==). Hence, there is error in the logic of code which does not produce a compiler error.

Ans. Logical error

    Write a c++ program in that file to perform a “Search and Replace All” operation. This operation consists of performing a case-sensitive search for all occurrences of an arbitrary sequence of characters within a file and substituting another arbitrary sequence in place of them. Please note: One of the biggest problems some students have with this exercise occurs simply because they don’t read the command line information in the course document titled “Using the Compiler’s IDE”. Your program: 1. must...

    This C++ Program consists of: operator overloading, as well as experience with managing dynamic memory allocation inside a class. Task One common limitation of programming languages is that the built-in types are limited to smaller finite ranges of storage. For instance, the built-in int type in C++ is 4 bytes in most systems today, allowing for about 4 billion different numbers. The regular int splits this range between positive and negative numbers, but even an unsigned int (assuming 4 bytes)...
