A participant sits on the floor with a pad under the calf of the straight leg and the other leg bent. With a theraband attached to one end of the foot and the other end attached to a sturdy object, using only the ankles, the participant pulls the toes up and inward and returns to the starting position for 8 to 12 reps. What type of stretch is this? Ballistic, static, PNF, or dynamic stretching techniques?

Answer #1

This is type of Ballistic stretching technique.Because ,this type of stretching is where you stretch the muscle as far as it is comfortable to do so. Then, at the the end range of movement you bounce or force the joint that little bit further.
