If the sample of unknown material in Problem 10.1 was replaced with an identical sample of bone, what would the length increase of the bone be? (b) Bone has a compressive Youngs modulus of Ycompressive 9x 10 N m-2 If the 50 kg weight was used to compress the sample rather than stretch it, how much would the length of the sample change?
