From the figure we get the relation of width and length of the box as ,

w=7-2x

l=9-2x

and volume of the box V as,

V=w*l*h

Now our table is ;

0.5 7-2(0.5)=6 9-2(0.5)=8 0.5 8*6*0.5=24
\frac{7-5}{2}=1 5 9-2(1)=7 1 5*7*1=35
3.5 7-2(3.5)=0 9-2(3.5)=2 3.5 0*2*3.5=0
