Using ANOVA analysis, we find that for a 5% hypothesis test, the p value is 0.000202, which is less than 0.05, therefore we reject the null hypothesis. This means that the average value of loss for each of the 3 different type of roberies is different.

The mean value of loss for each category is as follows :

Highway : 979.8

Gas Station : 1168.8

Convenience store : 761.1667

We can see that the average loss from robery is maximum in gas stations and minimum in convenience stores.
