Answer #1

Carbon fibre has high stiffness, high tensile strength, low weight, high chemical resistance and low thermal expansion. It has high strength- to- weight ratio but slightly brittle in nature.

6061-T6 Aluminium:- has ultimate tensile strength of atleast 290 MPa and yield strength of 240 MPa. Fatigue loading life os greatly affected due to derating factors such as loading, gradient and surface finish.

Titanium Alloy :- Tensile strength ranges from 275 to 590 MPa depending upon oxygen and Iron content. Higher the content, higher is the strength. Has high creep strength and fatigue strength. Also, has high fracture strength.

4130 chromoly alloy :- has brinell hardness in the range of 200- 220,Tensile Modulus of 190 GPa, fatigue strength of 320 MPa, Tensile strength (yoeld) of 460 MPa and Ultimate tensile strength of 530 MPa.
