Answer #1

15 10 20 -15 -10 10The above is the graph of the given system of equation. The lines intersect at (4,3). Hence the solution for the given system, graphically is x=4, y=3 .

Check: for x+2y=4+3*2=4+6=10

for 3x-2y=3*4-2*3=12-6=6

Verified.

12. If  the lines in a system of equations are parallel (the graphs of the equations do not intersect ), then there are no solutions that are true for both equations
