1) Blood leaks from dermal blood vessels - This situation is shown by 1st left image where clot is not seen on the dermal tissue.

2) 2nd image from the left shows the blood clotting situation where blood leaking is stopped by platelets.But here the wound is  not started healing.

3) The next image shows the scab protecting underlying tissue as it heals.

4) The last image ( 4th from left) shows the process of healing of wound. Fibroblasts enter the wound area and after 1 week the fibroblasts are the main cells in that area.
