1. A layer of sedimentary rocks gypsum forms by the process of precipitation from seawater . Gypsum is a chemical sedimentary rock which form by the precipitation of minerals from water and the precipitation takes place when the dissolved minerals are comes out from the water and gypsum forms. Evaporation of the surface water promotes precipitation of gypsum.

2. As depth increases density, pressure and temperature increases. As the over burden thickness increase due to depth pressure increase and density=mass/volume so it also increases.

3. The temperature of the rock at the location is approximately 20000C
