Understand the given example of car parking space design for 180 ft x 200 ft; and
Use the same methodology to provide an improved car parking space design for 200ft x 200ft available space.
Give explanation for each step, draw the parking lot layout and provide summary table indicating the number of standard cars, compact cars and cars for handicap.
Hi,
We can now add a parking spot in each lane as the length has increased from 180 to 200 feet. But, this is dependent on the size of the parkings for each (i.e. standard cars, compact cars and cars for handicap).
One more possibility is to increase the number of spots by reducing a couple of standard car spots and adding compact car spots.
We can also now due to the increased length make the parking rectangle angled at 30 degrees for ease of parking but then the number of spots will most probably remain the same.
Thanks :)
