Question 1) Given , m = 1200 kg , v = 65 mph

Converting : 65 mph = (65*0.447) m/s = 29.06 m/s

Energy (E) = (1/2)*m*v^2

E = (1/2)*1200*29.06^2

E = 506606.5 J

Conversion : 506606.5 J = 121.08 cal

Since , 1 donut = 250 food calories

Number of units of donuts = 121.08/250 = 0.5 ( half of a donut)

Thus , energy provided by half of a donut is equal to kinetic energy
