99% confidence interval gives higher accuracy of the data as compared to 95% confidence interval.
& 99 confidence interval is always the wider than the 95%
The two statements are as follows

1) 99% confidence interval is computed when the researcher wants to be 99% sure that the population parameter is within a particular range of values.

2) The 95% confidence interval is computed when the researcher only needs to be 95% sure that the population parameter is within a particular range of values.
