1. Information processing. As per this model, there are three stages of memory -sensory register, short-term memory and long-term memory.

3. Type of practice. In massed practice, there is no rest, while there is rest in spaced practice.

4. Types of rehearsal. Rote rehearsal requires repetition of information for maintenace, while elaborative rehearsal requires linking new information with the information already available in the long-term memory.

5. The hippocampus. Hippocampus plays a crucial role in the formation of new memories.
