Here, the option,errors are not independent is correct.

Because,

(Here, the error are normally distributed, we can see it by histogram of residual).

And there is a linear relationship between the variable because R^2=0.96 it means R= 0.98 and hence this relation shows that variable are strongly correlated with each other and hence, linear relationship between variables.
