OPTION (A) is correct.since the epoxide is above the plane so attacking of nucleophile will takes place from below the plane. If u observe at carbon B , there gris phenyloup which bulky in nature in below the plane. So nucleophilic attack from backside at carbon B will not favour. Where as in carbon A there is small hydrogen in below the plane which favours the nucleophilic attack at carbon A.
