Syntax:

GRANT privilege_name ON object_name TO {user_name | PUBLIC | role_name} [with GRANT option]; Here, privilege_name is the access right or privilege granted to the user.

Grant option clause is used to grant a privilege and to allow the recipient to pass on to other users. With it any user can grant or revoke any role to or from other users or roles of the database.
