Comparative advantage is defined as the ability of the country to produce more and more goods and services at a lower opportunity costs as compared to other countries

Suppose that there are two countries- Country united states and Vietnam. US has absolute advantage in both the goods that is textiles and semiconductors as it produces more of the goods than Vietnam in same number of hours. But is it found that the United states chooses to import textiles because it has comparative advantage in producing semi-conductors which means it has lower opportunity cost in semiconductors. And higher opportunity cost in producing textiles. It means textiles will be produced by Vietnam.

Conclusion: However, the United States chooses to import textiles because the opportunity cost of producing textiles in Vietnam is lower than in the United States
