Answer #1

1) in most of the species whether insects or amphibians the thyroid gland secreting thyroxene horomone increase instantly in concentration and this stimulates contraction of certain larval organs and differentiation of new adult organs during metamorphosis.

2) Hypermetamorphosis : A kind of complete metamorphosis or moulting in which the different larval represent two or more different forms of larva.

Gradual metamorphosis : most of the insect species undergo complete moulting over the course of their lifetime. Each stage of the life cycle as depicted are egg, larva, pupa, and adult which is marked by a distinctly different appearance. this is called Gradual Metamorphism.

3)after traumatic insemintion of bed bugs , they have evolved a pair of sperm-receptacles, known as the spermalege . the spermalege reduces the direct damage to the female bugs hence traumatic insemination is unique.

4) In haplodiploidy, sex is determined by the number of sets of chromosomes an individual receives after the union of sperms and eggs. An offspring formed after the union of a sperm and an egg develops as a female, while an unfertilized egg develops as a male. thus the female bear one set of chromosome while a male bears half set of chromosome.hence the name haplodiploidy is given.
