Part A

The 120 and 25 are in parallel

1/R = 1/120 + 1/25

R = 20.7

That is is series with 70

Req = 70 + 20.7 = 90.7 Ohms


Part B

The most current is in the 70 Ohms resistor. That reisitor is in series and the other two are parallel. In series the current in constant and will have the net current of the curcuit found by I = V/R = 21/90.7. The current in the 70 ohm will be .232 Amps. The two resistors in series will share that current because current splits in series. Those two will have less current individually.
