A researcher has a table of data with four column variable and three row variables

c=4 and r=3

Therefore the value of degrees of freedom of chi-sqaure is (c-1)*(r-1) = (4-1)*(3-1) =6

Therefore the value of degrees of freedom in order to calculate the chi-sqaure test statistic is 6
