The explanation of the class diagram is as follows-

  • The top section is the class name, Account
  • The next section lists all the member variables of the class.
  • The next and last section consists of all the functions of the class.

The + /- sign before each line indicates the access specifier. + is for public access specifier. - is for private access specifier.

The order of variables in a UML diagram is - <access_specifier> <var_name>:<data_type>

The order of functions in a UML diagram is - <access_specifier> <func_name> : <return type>. If no return type(void), then nothing is mentioned.
