Constant temperature.

Apply Boyle's law:

P1V1 = P2V2

∴ V2 = (P1V1) / (P2) = (2.7 * 4.7) / (6.4)

∴ V2 = 1.98 L

  • Volume at 6.40 atm = 1.98 L

Hence, apply Boyle's law:

P1V1 = P2V2

∴ P2 = (P1V1) / (V2) = (2.7 * 4.7) / (0.0450)

∴ P2 = 282 atm
