*I know how to get from grams to atoms of NO, but my question is, how do I get to atoms of nitrogen?

Given ,

Amount of NO = 5.25 g

Mole of NO = 5.24/30.01 mol

= 0.1746 mol

1 mole of NO have 1 mole of nitrogen atom

So, 0.1746 mol of NO have 0.1746 mol of nitrogen atom .

Hence , number of N atom = mole * avagadro number

= 0.1746 x 6.022x 10^23

= 1.0514 x 10^23 atoms of nitogen present in 5.24 g of NO.
