On the other hand, C and D are similar; they have no effect on silver chloride (AgCl) ideally other than the intrinsic solubility of AgCl in water.

There is no interaction of LiNO3 with Ag+ or Cl-

But NH3 can interact and coordinate with Ag+ ions and forms a complex. Therefore, as soon as a gram of AgCl dissolves, the resulting Ag+ is stolen and forms a complex of Ag(NH3)2. This pulls out more amount of Ag+ into the solution, and simultaneously more AgCl dissolved as a result.
