Lecithin is a lipid but it also contain phosphate group along with non-hydrocarbon skelton ,thatswhy it is somewhat polar.

Methylene chloride is also polar but not that much polar and as we know LIKE DISSOLVE LIKE., so lecithin will dissolve in methylene chloride.
