Answer #1

By using ideal gas equation

PV= nRT

Answer (11)

P= pressure = 755 torr = 0.993 atm

V= volume = ?

n= number of moles = 2.3 moles

R= gas constnat = 0.0821 LatmmolK

T = temperature = 27+273.15= 300.15 K

V= nRT/P = (2.3*0.0821*300.15)/0.993= 57.07 L

Answer (12)

here P= 450.5 mmHg= 0.59 atm ; V= 2 L ; R= 0.0821 Latm/molK ; T= ?

n= moles of N2= mass/molar mass = 30/28 = 1.07 moles

T = PV/nR= (0.59*2)/(1.07*0.0821)= 13.4 K
