Answer #1

Answer: Option c. 6

Al(OH)3 + H2SO4 --> Al2(SO4)3 + H2O

Firstly we balance Aluminum by multiplying the reactant Al(OH)3 by 2.

2Al(OH)3 + H2SO4 --> Al2(SO4)3 + H2O

Than the sulphur is balances by multiplying H2SO4 by 3.

2Al(OH)3 + 3 H2SO4 --> Al2(SO4)3 + H2O

So in the reactant there are 12 hydrogen and 18 oxygen where as in product there are 2 hydrogen 12 oxygen. If we multiple H2O by 6 in the product than have 12 hydrogen and 18 oxygen.

2Al(OH)3 + 3 H2SO4 --> Al2(SO4)3 + 6 H2O
