Find the molar solubility of PbI2. Ksp=7.1e-9, then given the molar solubility from the previous answer, what is the solubility of PbI2, in grams per litre?

Knowing this, would PbSO4 (Ksp=1.6e-8) have a higher molar solubility than PbI2? (I'm thinking PbSO4 would be higher, since the Ksp is larger?)

Answer #1

Ksp of Pb 1₂ = 7.1x109 . PbIz is a Aba type of salt Ksp = 4 3 3 = 7-1X109 co 3s 1.775*109 Sal21x103M. -3 2 x 70 <3 molar sol

Molar solubility of PbI2 is greater than PbSO4

Thank you ?

All the best.
