Given,

V1 = 10 L

P1 = 102 kPa = 1 atm

T1 = 300 K

T2 = 290 K

P2 = 1.5 atm

We need to find V2

Amount of gas in the baloon remains constant. Using ideal gas equation at sea level and inside water, we get

P1V1 = nRT1   ...(i)

   P2V2 = nRT2     ...(ii)

From (i) and (ii) we get

P1V1 / T1 = P2V2 / T2

On putting values , we get

V2 = 6.4 L

Assumptions : i) Ideal gas inside baloon

ii) Given pressure inside water is absolute pressure.
