Answer #1

Ans: more polar molecule will elute first.

in reverse phase column chromatography some alkyl chains covalently bonded to the stationary phases particles in order to create a hydrophobic stationary phase, which has a stonger affinty for hydrophobic or less polar compounds. As a result, hydrophobic molecules(more non polar) in the column tend to adsorb to the hydrophobic stationary phase whereas hydrophilic molecules(more polar) pass throough the coumn and will elute first.
